NovaChart.AI ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to providing high-quality astrology services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding refunds for subscription fees. By using our paid services, you agree to this policy.
All payment transactions are processed through the Creem payment platform. Your payment information is protected by industry-standard encryption.
2. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
2.1 Eligibility
First-time subscribers to Pro or Premium plans are eligible for a 7-day money-back guarantee:
- Full refund available within 7 days from the initial payment date
- No explanation required
- Available to first-time subscribers only
- Does not apply to renewal subscriptions
2.2 Refund Conditions
To qualify for a refund, you must meet the following conditions:
- Submit your refund request within 7 calendar days after payment
- Have not seriously violated our Terms of Service
- Have not abused the refund policy (e.g., repeatedly subscribing and requesting refunds)
2.3 How to Request a Refund
Please submit your refund request by:
- Sending an email to refund@novachart.ai
- Including "Refund Request" in the subject line
- Providing your registered email address and order number
- Explaining the reason for your refund request (optional, but helps us improve our service)
3. Refund Processing
3.1 Processing Time
- Review Time: We will review your request within 2 business days of receipt
- Refund Time: Once approved, refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
3.2 Access Rights After Refund
Once your refund is processed:
- Your paid subscription will be immediately terminated
- You will lose access to paid features
- You can continue using free features
- Saved birth charts will be retained according to free plan limits (maximum of 3)
4. Subscription Cancellation
4.1 How to Cancel Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- Log in to your account and navigate to "Subscription Management"
- Click the "Cancel Subscription" button
- Confirm the cancellation
4.2 Rights After Cancellation
After canceling your subscription:
- You can continue using paid features until the end of your current billing period
- No new charges will be incurred
- You can resubscribe at any time
- Important: Canceling your subscription is not the same as requesting a refund, unless done within the 7-day refund period
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:
- After the 7-Day Period: Refund requests submitted more than 7 days after initial subscription
- Renewal Subscriptions: Automatically renewed subscription fees
- Partial Period Refunds: No prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations
- Terms of Service Violations: Users whose accounts have been terminated for violating our Terms of Service
- Refund Policy Abuse: Repeated subscription and refund behavior
- Promotional Discounts: Subscriptions purchased using promotional codes or discounts (unless otherwise specified)
- Third-Party Purchases: Subscriptions purchased through unofficial channels
6. Special Circumstances
6.1 Technical Issues
If you are unable to use our service due to technical failures on our end:
- Please contact customer support immediately at support@novachart.ai
- We will prioritize resolving the technical issue
- If the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe, we will consider a prorated refund or subscription extension
6.2 Billing Errors
If you believe there has been a billing error:
- Please contact us within 30 days of discovering the error
- Provide transaction details and supporting documentation
- We will investigate and issue a full refund upon confirmation
6.3 Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with a refund decision:
- You may file an appeal with disputes@novachart.ai
- We will re-review your case within 5 business days
- The final decision will be communicated to you in writing
7. Payment Provider Terms
All payment and refund transactions are processed through the Creem payment platform. In addition to this Refund Policy, you are also subject to:
- Creem's Terms of Service and Refund Policy
- The terms of your payment method provider (e.g., credit card company, Alipay, etc.)
- Refund processing times may be affected by the payment platform's processing schedule
Important Notice:Before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider or bank, please contact our customer support team first. Direct chargebacks may result in suspension of your account, and we prioritize resolving issues through negotiation.
8. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. In the event of significant changes:
- We will notify users via email or website announcement
- Changes will take effect 30 days after publication
- Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the new policy
- You may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect
